Thanks for the advice, I will have a look at the oil vapour into the inlet problem you mentioned as I think this maybe an issue cause K-Jet runs in a closed loop, with no PCV system.

As an example if you lift the oil dip stick out when the engine is idling this will cause a rough idle.

To answer your question, some use WI, though mainly on the historic racers, and turbo'ed versions.
