How do i change the diff. mounts in my 79 320i, because apparently they are gone, or worn out and i want to know how to change them. Thanks for the help

You've got 2 options, you can either get a new mount with the 2 bushings pressed in already, or you can buy the 2 bushings and press them in yourself. The whole mount with the bushings is about $44.00 and the bushings alone are about $15.00 each. For the difference of $14.00 I'd opt for the whole mount, rather than messing around pressing the old ones out and new ones in. The actual installation is easy, it's only two bolts that holds the mount in. Just support the diff with a floor jack while you're doing it so you don't have to lift it with one hand and start the bolt with the other.
