Well I'm finally getting around to building up my '83 E21. I usually start with ignition components but aftermarket coils and wires (Accel for example) do not hook up because the coil and distributor cap have the tiny screw-studs instead of metal sleeves. Any ideas?

Also, I've seen advertisements for special 8mm spark wires for this car, but prices range from $30-$90 mentioning that the original ones had resistors in the ends. Is $90 REALLY worth it? I don't want the resistors in my wires.
