80-83 320i's all use the same cat. Avoid Bosal cats, though, we stopped carrying them due to numerous warranty and fit probs (i.e. 320i cats coming with 318i flanges welded to them). DEC's are the best aftermarket cats we've found and the price is about the same as Bosal (~$250.00). I echo Dean's thoughts on used cats, not to mention any used one you find will be at least 18 years old and pretty much spent.
