Does anyone know if an '81 323i ( M20) K-Jet Engine
has hard vavle seat inserts or if it just uses the light alloy of the head ?

Until recently, I was able to get Leaded petrol here in Australia, but in line with the rest of the world it has been phased out with a lead replacment version.

I can tell you now this petrol sucks in my car, rough idle
low power etc.

So I was thinking of running premium unleaded, ( highest octane fuel here ) but I don't want to damage my vavle seats or engine.

Any Information appreciated....
