Did you have to recut the top groove that makes the top look like a prong? I know that I got to make a new grooved ring for my knob to snap back on. Thanks for the help!! I can't wait to get to work on it, its been bugging me ever since I got it.

I would do it!!!! it makes your shifting so much better. Once you do it you would wonder why you didn't do it the day you got you e21.

Mine is very low and it makes shifting so much better.

I put mine in 5th gear and had a friedn hold onto the lower part as i went to work. it is easy to cut.only took about a min
