Progress pics ...... (archive)

Well I had every intention of getting both the bumper and the 316 grill in today , honest.
But when I started taking my grill out I realized how crappy my car was looking .
I would have been ashamed to take pics of it with the new bumper.
The primered front end doesnt have a sealer beneath it .
So a little rust was starting to peek through where I went down to the metal.
I actually busted out the Krylon , thats right spray cans .
Got rid of my compressor a few months back (long story).
To make the best of what I had , I resorted to taking the hood off.
Well the sanding , sealing , and priming took up most of the day , so I didnt get either the bumper or grill in .
Ran out of primer so I did'nt prime the lip spoiler either.

Heres what the beast looks like tonight :

I still think my car kicks ass without a front bumper.
Maybe once I have the bumper painted I'll like the look more.
But I really dont like the chrome look.
Once again I'll try and get the stuff on tomorrow.
Weather permitting , it got pretty chilly this evening.
