A rear sway bar sounds like an excellent, and affordable mod!!! Thanks for the insight!! Definitely going to get one

Really one of the best things you can do for handling without breaking the bank. One of the reasons the 02 is considered a better handling car is because of the sway bars. The standard 320i sadly has no rear bar to speak of. I found a 19mm rear bar and brackets in the junkyard and picked it up. Got it on my car in less than a half hour, in my apartment parking lot, without raising the car or taking off the tires. The diffrence is AMAZING. The "snap back" which occurs when coming out of a corner is gone, and the car feels 10 times more stable now. Probably the cheapest, easiest mod you can do. If you can't find a big bar, the bar from a 320iS will do as well, though it is only a 16 or 17mm, I forget which one. But something back there is bigger than nothing. Hope this helps!
