All 17" wheels in our bolt pattern are for modern front drivers.
So get the slimmest , usually a 7" and go with a small 205/40/17 tire.
You'll need to get spacers as well , not as wide as needed with modern 14" and 15" .
The 17's will almost clear the tie-rod.
Yes its true , all the E21's I've seen with 17's ride a little high.
