hay I have 18" rims on my 320i no joke. I have no problems rubbing with them. I have 35 series tire. They are Kosei Senka Rom wheels with Perelli 7000 supersport 215/35 18 tires. My car is lowered with adjustable coilover spring by ground control. I have 17in would be no big deal just run 40 series tires.
