I looking at installing a set of koni sport and bav auto springs (any experience with these springs? should I buy H&R or Eibach?). what is the best setting on the shocks and how do i adjust them.(I am still waiting on the shocks to arrive.)
JoelNoel,
A come-along is a hand operated winch, used for installing/stretching chain link fencing and whatever else. Another poster mentioned use of a ratcheting tie-down -- that would work.
The Haynes manual shows two springs fitted to later models -- code red = 252-258 lbf, and code white = 259-266 lbf.
Hope this helps.
Gabe
Hey, Gabe, what's a "come-along"?
Also, what are the stock spring rates for the front and rear of the '83 320i?
-Noel
