The experience that I have with cutting springs is not been good, altho this experience was in the rear of a front wheel drive car, with the unloaded springs sometimes lifting and then settling back uneven(half on the perch/half off. This only occured on the wheel that would lift off of the ground(remember this was in a fwd, so the right rear in a left turn). Havent cut any springs in the beem yet.
