Gentlemen!
Has anyone successfully retrofitted European bumpers to a US spec. e21('83 320is)? The rear body panels are evidently dissimilar and make the car look horribly deformed when the rear US bumper is removed. The front bumper looks like it will go on with no problem once the bumper shock brackets (welded) are removed. I know that the euro front lower valance panel is different from the US version but that is a small problem compared to the problems with the rear. OK, whipe the "you silly fool" look off from your face and help a fellow bimmer fanatic.
