I have a '79 323i and wanted to swap in a e-36 2.8l.

I have a 1979 e21 323i in the process of a long
restoration.

I have seen at bavarian auto sport in october the show and shine a m50 2.5 liter in an e21 323i yellow car. I talked to the owner - he said that it dropped right in - no chane to even the tranny.

I told him what I want is an M3 3.2 liter in my car. This conversion can be done BMPd.com is oding an e30 with a vortec supercharger. Schneller autoservice also does the e30 conversion. You can go to there web sites.

Because our cars are so old now very few people do this conversion. I am going to do this 3.2 into an e21.

Cheers

Joe
