junk yard find (archive)

I've been searching for replacement seats for my 81 320. I found a set on a 79 that were reupulstered nicely with cloth and new padding etc. They need cleaning but otherwise good. I got the back seat and back window deck area too since its all the same material. Anybody need my old cloth seats?
Also got a replacement sunroof winder handle and few other bits. Some of which I may sell on Ebay.
Anybody need a chrome right side mirror?
Had a fun time getting it all home with my main car. Thank god for 4-doors. There was also an I.S. steering wheel but it was without its center piece so I left it. On the same car was a black rubber or plastic air dam. It was cracked in the middle unfortunately. The big find was cyl head on an early 80's 528i that must have been recently rebuilt because it was super clean. Far too clean to match the rest of the engine. I nearly took it off but with the wife with me I opted not to.
This was the Ecology yard off Imperial/Carmenita and the 5 freeway in Santa Fe springs in CA.
