Hi all,
I know that wheels are rare for the car. I have two sets of BBS rims for my 79 323i. On the car now I have Racing Dynmaics lowering springs with Bistien sport shocks and I going to put coil overs in the rear. BMP shock tower braces and other mods.

I use 195 50 15s and on the front I have 15 x 6
rear 15 x 7 BBS marhle rims.

Under extreeme cornering the front fenders would catch the edge of the tire and cut into it.

I did a complete frame off restoration, and with the new fenders and quaters I rented a machine from the tire rack and rolled all the fender lips!
I was racking my brain for a solution and someone on the digest mentioned this. It came out outstanding and the baseball bath method was just plain scary.

I am going to 205 50 15s P7s and going to restore the rims on the car.

Also I am going to buy the ulimate rim for the car: A set of 16 inch Hart C2s that I will have machined in the correct offset.

My .02 cents use 195 50s front, 205 50s rear with 15 inch rims. The azev type A or C 5 star rim will also fit in 16 inchs.

Cheers

Joe
