As for the headlight, you might check the fuse. Being that the metal contact is completly on the outside, unlike the glass kind, if it is old they can corrod and lose contact. Take a little sandpaper and lightly clean the ends and reinstall. Just a thought.

As for running rough - it could be many things, but start with the easiest and cheapest to correct items first. Clogged or dripping injectors can be helped with a can of fuel injector cleaner next time you fill up. Check the plugs, distributor cap and rotor for carbon build up, loose or old plug wires, timing, vacuum leaks, etc. If all those things are OK, then it get's more comlicated. Good luck, matthew



Hi Guy's I'm from the E23 board, a friend has
an 82 323i,
couple issues,
First headlight one works sometimes one does not,
Runs rough, whats a commen issue on that?

What car has interchangable parts?
