Follow up to 323 Fan shroud (archive)

I got a used 79 320 shroud, and just like what others had mentioned below, this shroud is smaller in dia than the fan blades by about 1". I could do one of two things...cut the fan blades to fit within the shroud, or enlarge the shroud to fit over the blades. I chose to do the latter.

Here's what I've modified so far...
It's in the car, and before, with the engine running and the hood open, I could not hear the sound of the clutch fan. But now, I can hear the roar of the air gushing out. It is my hope that this shroud will increase efficiency of the A/C.
