Well, I removed mine without whatever the jubilee clip was. Those suckers were in there, though. I had to use some pliers (vice-grips) to pull them out. Be really careful though, since when they finally pop out, you could be pulling to hard and snap the fuel line. I had to REALLY pull hard too. It took me about 30 minutes to get them all out.
