coincidentally, I just did this today but due to the fact that I wanted to remove the Intake Manifold...

I did the same thing.. kept turning and turning the nuts.. nada... then I just popped them out with my own hands... they just pop out...

what I don't know is if I should replace the rubber seals or not...
