Ok When I start my '77 it idles really slow, I know that this is probably the cold start valve. but something that I noticed while troubleshooting is that when I pull the vacuum hose off of the vacuum limiter the idle speed picks up and the car warms up faster, is this a normal thing or should I go and replace the vacuum limiter also.

another thing that I noticed is that there are four hoses comming off of the egr check valve only 4 of theese are connectd to other parts the fourth is just open ended, any idea what the four hoses should hook to, the manual I have does not show.
