I can cut out some rust free rear suspension towers (spring mounts) 'hats' from a 320i shell that is being dumped. The problem is that it is a field miles from power so I cannot use any power equipment.

anyone suggest what I can use to cut out the spring that will not take me too long. (welding cutting equipment either)

You Might want to rent a battery powered recprocating saw. they are like a sawzall but are battery powered. Its what I use when I'm at the u-pullit yard.
