well Ive got a 3.91 lsd I am thinking, it has these #'s,
33.11-1207.7190
ggg-40
1502something something something....
this gives me the idea that it is 40% lock, but heres the problem.
I have the diff out with the halfshafts, but when I turn it, it seems to be locked together, almost welded it seems. It has gears in it, but they are covered by a metal can around them in the center. There are 4 square notches on the tooth side of the ring, and 2 holes about 1" diam in which you can see the internal gears.

anyone know what an lsd is supposed to do? I would think 40% would move less than a 1:1 when one wheel is moved by hand. any input?

well thanx
Rob
