If it is an 81 it might have the following colour codes:

1. RED FRONT-RIGHT
2. GREEN REAR-LEFT
3. WHITE/BROWN STRIPE COM.RIGHT
4. WHITE/RED STIPE COM.RIGHT
5. WHITE/GREEN STRIPE COM.LEFT
6. BROWN REAR RIGHT
7. WHITE/ORANGE STRIPE COM.LEFT
8. ORANGE FRONT-LEFT

9. BLACK GROUND
10. YELLOW 12V
11. BLUE DAIL LAMP

Thanks in advance for reading this and/or helping me out.

I was recently given a BMW 320i from my friends parents who no longer wanted it after it sat for 18 years. The stereo has been stolen out of it, and I'm trying to put a new one in. Problem is I have no idea what goes where. The front/rear speakers shouldn't be too hard to find out, but I need to know what the 12+V(Power)/Ground and anything else pertinent colours are. I can't find a Haynes manual or any reference on here or otherwise. If ANYBODY could please give me a hand in this, I'd greatly appreciate it.
