That's right hecksheibe means rear windshield. If it has a working switch for a rear fog light, it may have the european type tail lights in it, which would suggest that it may be a European delivery car. That is, US spec but delivered in Europe and shipped over.

I have a 77 Alpina A4. It's neat to see how BMW moved from the 2002 to the E21s. Lots of interchangables.

I own 02s as well as my beloved 80 323i which I imported back in 87. I enjoy the comfort of the E21 but will never forsake the love I have for my 02s!

Have fun getting to know your 320! And for heaven's sake, get rid of the ANTS!!!
