Wow, this further complicates the pressure issue. Looks like four items control pressure. The pump, accumulator, line pressure valve on the distributor, and the freq valve.
Was I right as to where its located?

The oxygen sensor (along with a couple of other things) provide input to the control unit (computer) which in turn runs the frequency valve to control the control pressure to the fuel distributor (not the injector opperating pressure) this in turn regulates the overall mixture lean/rich.
