You should be able to remove the fan without removing the condensor. It will be a bit fiddly though. You'll have to remove the front grills to gain access to nuts and bolts from the front.

Remove the raditor and the AC condesor and fan are accesible. Pretty easy really just a hassle to deal with the antifreeze.

On a 320i is there a way to remove the aux fan in front of the a/c condenser without tearing the whole front end apart?
The info in the manuals is very lacking.


Thanks for the response but i was hoping to leave the condenser intact and not have to mess with the freon.
