A dyno is only good if there is a person capable of making the correct improvements (jetting, timing, etc) to gain optimal power. A G-tech is a lot more portable if you just want to take measurements.

I used to work with Walker muffler, a few years ago. To make a long story short, they're cleaning house and have a spare dyno which I already said I'm interested in. I might actually get this for free!

My question: What do you all think this is worth in terms of renting out to hi-performance types? I haven't sold my wife on the idea yet.....a major obstacle. But, I was thinking of setting up a cheap garage with a rentable dyno.
