I have the recently scrapped a '78 320 for motor and a bit of fun (some people garden). Here is my question, the cam looks to be non-standard, but is marked as BMW. The other markings on the cam are: 126, T7, BMW, CK45 and a "fish" shaped or "X" with a semi-circle on the top of the "X". Has it been re-ground or is it a BMW original? Wtihout sending to professionals, can I work out how many degrees it is? Can get a DTI and sands/lathe to do measuring, if a bit of time and math is required.
TIA
