Sounds like a good idea to me. Dyno time is expensive to the tune of around $100+ per hour, so it might make for a good self service tuning center. Insurance for something like that might be prohibitive though.

I used to work with Walker muffler, a few years ago. To make a long story short, they're cleaning house and have a spare dyno which I already said I'm interested in. I might actually get this for free!

My question: What do you all think this is worth in terms of renting out to hi-performance types? I haven't sold my wife on the idea yet.....a major obstacle. But, I was thinking of setting up a cheap garage with a rentable dyno.
