1) "Use refrigerating machine oil" - Microfische doesn't state what brand or type or viscosity...

2) Oil level is checked just like that of a manual trans...when it's mounted, the oil should just barely trickle out of small fill hole.

2a) Oil level can only be checked when A.C. is empty (FWIW)
2b) Check oil level before charging A.C. w/ refrigerant (fairly obvious, IMO)
