My friend is looking to get snows for her 318i. She slipped and slided through last winter and is ready to get some snows for next winter. She will keep her wheels and have the tire service guys switch and balance the tires. The car is her daily driver, highway to work 30 miles each way, very conservative driver. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Tom

The best Winter tires I have ever used are Hakkapeliita Winter Tires. They were superior to the Pirelli winters and blizzaks I tried. I have used them on front drivers and rear drivers and have never been disappointed. The confidence the give in slow and slush is amazing. I always ran them on all four corners. Here is their web site.
