I have a 1983 320i. I'm leaking oil from the compressor. I can tell you this, the oil is amber color, like that of motor oil. I just sent an e-mail to a tech advisor on how to repair this leak, if I find out what kind of oil to use, I will be happy to get back to you. If you have any advise on how to repair the compressor, please reply.
