Hi guys, We (I,ve given it to my son) have an 83 320is. Car won't start. When you turn on the ignition, nothing happens. Radio, horn etc all work. Where should I start looking? Thanks for the help.

you probably have a bad spot on the starter, put the car in gear and rock it a little, or roll the car and drop the clutch this should turn the starter. The problem will only happen if the engine stops on the small bad spot on the starter. if this doesn't do it then the starter is bad
