Just wondering if this is a viable option. With the right motor, intake system, and other odds and ends, it seems that high HP would be possible as compared to a baby 6. Weight a problem?

I have a 79 Euro 635CSi motor, for example with 218HP.

try an m3 3.2 L 240hp or with dinan super charger 333hp california smog legal. requires relocating radiator, e36 transmission ,custom mounts, different computer, different guages, lsd between 3.15 and 2.45, relocating battery to the trunk , much wider tires to keep you on the road and many more details.yet the battery relocation will just about balance out the heavier engine. p.s. will cost 5-10K if you do it yourself but oh so nice and even reliable.
