How to fix Leatherette cut?? (archive)

My new BMW 325i 2001 model has a cut in the back seat leatherette.
It is around 10-15 cms in length.

Dunno how it happened. Probably some sharp object cut it.

What is the best way to fix it??
Are there any special glue??
Are there any leatherette strips??
