HOW MUCH DID THAT COST TO MAKE? COOL DESIGN. WHAT YEAR IS YOU BIMMER? I HAVE A 79' AND I'VE BEEN TRYIN TO THINK OF WAYS TO INCORPORATE A COLD AIR INDUCTION SYSTEM ON IT. ANY IDEAS?
THANKS'
DANIEL
This is a rear brace I built in about two hours with scrap DOM tubing and some sheet metal. I had it powder coated in a chrome finish. I think it turned out pretty good. I will be making a cold air system and airbox next.

The Dom seamless tubing was about a buck a foot and the(.75 dia .075 wall)and the gussets were just 12 ga. scrap. The whole thing weighs 8 pounds.
The BMW is a 1982. I am going to build an airbox where the battery was. I am going to pick up fresh air from behind the headlamps. I am going to mount the intake to the system on the plastic shield that covers the access hole to the rear of the headlamps. Hope that helps.
