I like the first design better. I don't think I would want any exhaust pouring out in front of the passenger compartment. I do have a question. In the first design what advantage do you gain by turning 90 degrees to dump it ahead of the rear wheel? Why not just run it straight back? Depending on what kind of resonator tip you use you could really tune the sound to your liking. Keep us posted on your effort.

I'd like to design a nice system. So far I have two designs, and need help picking one:

1) Stahl headers (1 3/4") dumping into a glass-packed free-flow (thru-flow) muffler, which takes an immediate 90* turn, and dumps out of a resonator tip in front of the rear wheel.

2)twin pipes (1 3/8") coming out of the stock manifold, dumping into seperate Supertrapp adapter tips, just behind the front wheels.

I have the Stahl, but pipe-size wise,it's more restrictive, so I feel I could pass more air thru the stock manifold, down-pipes! What do you think? Josh
