I think, maybe it's only the M roadster/coupe. Getting perfect weight distribution is a very tough thing on passenger cars, and anything close to it is pretty good. Not sure what the E21 has, but I would imagine it's somewhere along the lines of 53/47.(That is a wild guess) The 2002 has slightly better weight distrib. because the gas tank is in the back, not in the middle like our cars. Putting the battery in the back can assist the E21 in balance.
