I have a 77 320 auto and a 79 323i 4 speed (wreck - body not salvageble but mechanics okay). My aim is to eventually swap entire drive train. So far I have swapped rear end, but I have already noticed quite a few differences between the two under the bonnet and even underneath. Has anyone done a similar swap. Would appreciate any feedback on problems encountered.
