Should that long run of big-ass wire ever snag on something and wear through, you'll have a fire faster than you can imagine. Been there with an old Grand Prix (meltdown). Put a fusable link in close to the relocated battery. And also be sure not to snag the long wire run on any corners or sharp edges.
I have been wanting to put the battery in the trunk for quite some time. Im justn wondering if I have to run a negative(-) wire front the trunk to the motor. i saw that it needs a ground. I want to get away with running just a hot wire . Also if I life the side panel that holds the carpet down. Will it go back in place?
