Well,
I replaced the coil, condensor, plugs and changed the oil. Car cranks but doesn't start. I checked the fuel line at the fuel dist. and I have plenty of pressure. I pulled the fuse for the fuel pump and measured voltage was 12.78 - 13.2 v. I cleaned the main battery ground, grounds near the starter and next to the battery. With the key on, the starter voltage was 12.8 v (main wire to ground). Pulled all the starter wires and cleaned them. Got car to sputter but never really caught on. Does anybody know the voltage to the coil with the key on and while cranking? Voltage #'s at the ignition switch? Also, v - numbers for the main relay (is that the big black one on the side of the fuse box?)? I'm stumped. Ready to give up and tow it to a shop.
Thanks for any ideas or advice.
Randy
