I just put in a pree 83 tranny in my 83 3201.
anyone know is there is a legnth difference?
the 83 shaft seems to be an 1 1/2 or so too long.
any Ideas???

there are two different length trannies/ driveshafts for the '83. the shorter one is more aggressivley geared and obviously a slight bit lighter. the driveshaft from the donor car would be very helpful, but as sadi earlier you could tak ethe two seperate halves and put them together. i found out all this in the middle of a trannie swap, its not fun.
