I went and looked at a 77 320i with bilstiens, Recaros and 127,000 miles. Its so clean! It runs real good and its fun to drive. The only thing i noticed was when shifting in to second above 35k it grinds into gear if under 35k its fine. also it does the same going from 3rd to 2nd. Its a stock 4 speed. Could it be a syncro? What could it be?
Please help me?

If the price is right, and it runs as good
as you say, with the miles as stated, recaros and
all that, you might be ok, to buy that is. Now
if the tranny is shot, then you will look around
for a 5sp Getrag. If you want to replace the 4sp,
then you can probably get one on this site for
little or nothin.....
