5 speed overdrive transmission type for 323 (archive)

I think I've figured out that if I want this trans in my car, I need to look for a 245 Getrag utilizing an M20 bell housing bolt pattern and nechanical speedometer drive.

Is this going to be a difficult find, similar to say, a Getrag 245 in close ratio ?

ANyone selling a dedicated 5 speed overdrive for the 323?

If not, then I've heard of others using a 5speed out of an e30, but some modifications are required to convert electronic sensing speedo drive to mechanical drive. And Metric Mechanic is the place to find this converter. Any better alternative to interchanging an e30 trans ? Will I also need different driveshaft and shifter rod?
