Use pre 79 injection, 7-8 psi will be fine. 9:1 compression will probably work but you will need to make sure to intercool it. You will probably need to retard the timing, I used a MSD BMT way back when, worked very good.


I want to add a turbo to my 2002. Can I use a 320i injection system without modifications running approx 7-8 psi. If so should I use pre or post 79 320i injection.
I can fab a turbo header fairly easily and I want to use a T3 from a Mustang svo with a intercooler from a saab. I am currently using 9:1 compression pistons. Should I use flat topped pistons. Comments and advice are appreciated. Thanks
