Intake Manifolds question. (archive)

Anyone swapped out the intake manifold on a 320is 1.8L(one with square top) to the older 2.0L version(large tube runners). I'm considering this if any gain would result. It looks like the air has to travel through too many bends to reach the cylinders with the square top manifold. I also can't find what size the throttle bodies are to compare. I do plan on building a race 2.0L later, but for now need all the advantage I can get with my little 1.8L.
