The Haynes manual indicates a fuel filter infront of the car. Would that be what you are referring to Edward?

Klaus

If memory serves, you live in Alberta--therefore dramatic temperature fluctuations and a dramatic amount of condensation (Water, rust) inside the fuel tank and lines.
A REALLY worthwhile investment is to also put an inline filter at the front of the car, on the fuel line that goes into the fuel distributor.
This prevents all the debris in the line from getting at your VERY expensive fuel system components.
This does not affect fuel flow or pressure. A 5.00 fuel filter is a lot cheaper than replacing literally thousands of dollars of fuel injection components.i>
Good Luck,
Edward
Thinking of replacing mine this weekend.

Thx
