WS thanks for your comments.

1) Yes you have to remove the CIS and replace it with the carbs, but I think you can still use the fuel distributor and the fuel pumps.

2) I have no idea who is TWM what is there number?
Manifolds are rare in this country.
Like I said I think Laserchrom a UK tuner could import them for me.
I have no idea who I could get to fabricate the manifolds, but if someone on the board has them,
they should get the dimensions of them so others could dublicate them.

I have no idea were in Mass to go for a race shop that makes manifolds.

As for the other questions..... I imagine the webers will have a slightly louder intake hiss... it should not effect the exhaust end though...

As for a knifed edged 524td crank, weisco pistons and a 2.8 liter engine?

The crank is used for slightly higher revs and I have heard about 230hp for the 2.8 liter prior to using the webbers.

Question

What are the performance gains of the carbs?
How hard are they tune and are they streetable?

Thanks very much,

Joe
