I was going to do mine but decided to save money somewhere else (just didn't know if I was going to screw up the timing and/or alignment or whatever), price is pretty standard around 325 to 375 including parts(Bay Area). I did change the water pump, new lower temp thermostat and temp switch, gauge went from 3/4 to 1/2 right away. Replace the seals if there are any leaks. DO NOT drive the car until you change it it's been too long. Also if ordering the belt remember that there are two types (round vs. square teeth) I think cuttoff year is 79. Max sells the gears to use the new ones.
